You may enroll in Identify Theft and Pet Insurance at anytime. AFLAC Supplemental Plan, LegalEASE, Voluntary Life and VSP Vision are voluntary benefits that you may only enroll in during Open Enrollment or a qualifying life event. Doctor on Demand – (DOD)

Doctor of Demand connects CDHP and Premier (EPO) Plan participants face-to-face with a board-certified doctor or licensed psychologist (by appointment) on your smartphone, tablet or computer through live video.   • If you are a CDHP participant, Doctor On Demand medical visits are $49 per visit. Visits with a psychologist are $79 for 25 minutes and $119 for 50 minutes. Psychiatric 45 minute initial visit is $229 and $99 for a 15 minute follow-up visit. For additional information you may also view the CDHP flyer.
  • If you are a Premier (EPO) Plan participant, Doctor On Demand medical visits are $10 per visit. Visits with a psychologist are $25 for 25 minutes and $35 for 50 minutes. Since 2003, PEBP has offered its eligible participants the opportunity to apply for group Voluntary Life with Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) and Voluntary Short-Term Disability (STD) insurance through Standard Insurance Company at group rates. The Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA) is offered to NSHE employees. If you currently have a retirement plan with TIAA Cref they recommend that you meet with a finical assistance at least once a year. 2nd MD – New Program Beginning 7/1/20

If you find yourself asking questions like: Do I have the right diagnosis? Am I on the best treatment path and medications? Is this surgery or procedure the best option for me? How can I find the best local doctor for my medical needs or my surgery? Then 2nd MD will get you the help and answers you need.

2nd MD helps members make informed choices when faced with important healthcare decisions such as; giving them more than one treatment option, helping them understand the benefits and risk of each, and increasing members’ confidence that they are moving forward with the right treatment decision.

SaveonSP – New Program Beginning 7/1/20 – CDHP and EPO

Beginning July 1st, 2020, Nevada Public Employees’ Benefits Program is partnering with Express-Scripts’ SaveonSP, to help you save money on certain specialty medications. If you take medications found on the SaveonSP Drug List you are eligible for the program and select specialty medications will be free of charge ($0). Accredo and Express Scripts will contact you if you are currently taking a specialty medication, so be on the lookout for future mailings.
